나의 생각

믿음은 자신을 위해 갖게 되는 것이지 누구의 강요나 묵인에 의해 따라가고 좇아가는 것이 아니다. 내가 의지하고 힘이 되어줄 반려자를 갖는 것처럼 선택할 수 있는 것이다. 그 믿음이 나를 편안하게 해준다면 "Yes, Jesus!" 하고 따라가야 겠지만 그것이 자신의 의지를 구속한다고 생각이 들면 그 안으로 들어가서는 안된다. 자신의 선택의 힘이 약할때는, 힘들겠지만 선택 받게될 날을 조용히 기다려야 한다. 자신의 의지 없이 무의식 중에 가는 교회는 그냥 그 빌딩으로 가는 행위이기 때문에 지저스의 부활을 믿는 믿음과는 아무 상관이 없다.

믿음 없이 몸이 왔다 갔다하는 교회(빌딩)는 당신이 아픈 곳을 치료해 주지 못합니다.
당신의 아픈 곳을 감싸주고 치료해줄 그곳이 바로 당신이 찾는 믿음입니다.
삶의 시련 없이 믿음을 찾는 것은 그리 쉬운 일처럼 보이지 않습니다.
