최근 나의 우상이었던 맥 라이언이 나오는 영화 한편을 보다가 그녀의 변한 모습을 보고 실망을 했다. 아름답게 늙어갈 것으로만 기대했던 그녀의 모습은 그 정반대의 모습이었기 때문이다. 그녀의 처져서 앙증스러웠던 입술의 꼬리는 위로 치켜 올라가 있었고... 등등(위의 동영상 참고: 개인적으로 맥 라이언의 팬인데 이 비디오를 올리는 이유는, 아름다워지고 싶어서 성형수술이나 보턱스를 하고 싶은 분이나 당신의 와이프가 하고 싶어한다면 변화될 모습을 한번쯤 상상해 보라고 올린 것이다. 물론 더 아름다워질 확률이 더 높을 것이지만... )
최근 맥 라이언의 새 남자친구 John Mellencamp가 소개되었는데 그녀보다 10살 연상이었다. 이 남자와 18년간 결혼생활을 했던 수퍼모델인 그의 전부인(엑스와이프)의 얼굴은 보기만 해도 시원스러웠다.

Singer John Mellencamp and his supermodel wife, Elaine Irwin, have decided to separate after 18 years of marriage.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Mellencamp's rep said that the couple "are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family. They will continue to raise their two children in Indiana but have decided to call it a day as a couple."

Mellencamp met Irwin in 1991 when the then 23-year-old posed for the cover of his album "Whenever We Wanted." They were engaged 10 weeks later and married in 1992.
Irwin is Mellencamp's third wife, and they have two teenage sons, Hud and Spec. No reason has been given for the split.
